Good Evening students and parents. This is Josh Eanes, Principal at Bethany Elementary School calling with a few announcements for the week.

Doors will open for all students at 7:25am this week and they may report directly to their classroom. Students wishing to pick up breakfast in our cafeteria may do so before heading to their classroom to eat. Our tardy bell rings at 7:45am each morning. Students arriving late to school must be signed in by a parent at our front door.

Parents, the BMX Bike Show fundraiser incentive will take place this Wednesday, January 12th for all students that qualify. Other incentives will be scheduled later in the year.

Parents, our 2nd grading period and first semester come to a close this week. It is hard to believe that half of this school year is nearly over. As we finish this semester and start another, I encourage you to stay in touch with your child’s teacher and follow up with any questions you may have about your child’s academic progress.

Lastly, please continue to help our school stay safe by keeping students who are sick, showing symptoms of COVID or have been exposed to COVID at home until you have talked with our school for the safest next steps. Also, if your child has been tested for COVID, please keep them home until results return. If your child tests positive for covid, please keep them at home and notify our school. Our goal is to work with families so that we can continue to operate, in-person, safely.

Please enjoy the rest of your evening and we look forward to seeing everyone bright and early tomorrow morning.
