"Good evening Bethany Families. This is Josh Eanes, Principal at Bethany Elementary School calling with a few announcements for the week.
We will continue operating under Plan B this week with students in our AA cohort attending school on campus Monday and Tuesday and students in our BB Cohort attending school on campus Thursday and Friday. No students will be on campus Wednesday. 100% virtual learners will participate remotely Monday through Friday this week. I encourage all parents to stay in touch with your child’s teacher and stay closely connected to our school’s website at bethanyelementary.org and our social media outlets.
3rd Grade students will take the BOG reading test this week with AA students testing on Tuesday and BB students testing on Friday. 100% virtual students will test on Wednesday. Virtual students should plan to arrive at Bethany by 8:15am. Students will be screened prior to entering and must wear a face covering at all times.
2nd quarter report cards are ready for students. Report cards for students in our BB cohort went home this past Friday. Students in our AA cohort will receive their report cards on Monday, February 1st. 100% Virtual students may pick up their report cards from school at their convenience. If you do not receive a report card or have questions, please reach out to your child’s teacher.
We are happy to share that school pictures have been scheduled. Students in our AA cohort will have pictures taken on Tuesday, February 16th and BB cohort students will have pictures on Thursday, February 18th. Virtual students will be given the opportunity to have their picture taken on February 16th or February 18th between the hours of 12:00pm and 2:30pm. Specific picture ordering information will be sent home and shared very soon. We will also share more specific logistical information regarding safe ways for our virtual students to have their picture taken from school.
