Bethany Elementary is excited to welcome our community Reading Buddies back to campus this week for the second book giveaway of the year! Each student in our school will receive 2 free books as we try to support literacy at home. Our school sends a huge thank you to Mr. and Mrs. Dixon and Pastor Johnson from Glencoe United Methodist Church for supporting this effort each year. Transfer applications for the 2022-2023 school year are available in the Bethany front office, on the District website and at the RCS Central Office. Applications must be submitted by this Friday, April 29th. Students currently on transfer will not need to complete a new form this year and will remain enrolled at their current school. Transfer applications are for any new student requesting transfer to a new school next year. Good luck to all of our Special Olympic athletes competing this Friday, April 29th at Reidsville High School. We are very proud of you and know you will do great! Bethany’s storied May Day celebration returns to its annual tradition on Friday, May 6th at 1pm. Please spread the news and plan to join us for this event. This is an outdoor celebration and we invite our community and friends to attend! Our teachers and students have been working hard to prepare for the fun. We hope to see you there. Bethany Elementary is still enrolling kindergarten students for the 2022-2023 school year. If you have a student that will enter kindergarten next year or know of a family with a kindergarten age student, please call our school at 336-951-2710 or come by our front office to pick up an enrollment packet. Parents, we are excited to have visitors and volunteers in our school as our community support is a big part of our success! To help keep our school safe, please remember that you must have your ID available when signing in. All guests to our building must sign in and receive a visitors badge in the front office before going into our building. Anyone checking out a student must also present their ID to our office personnel. Please enjoy the rest of your evening and we look forward to seeing you bright and early tomorrow morning!
