Good evening Bethany Families. This is Josh Eanes, Principal at Bethany Elementary School calling with a few important announcements.
First, we received information today that there has been a COVID-19 exposure that occurred in our school. We have consulted with the health department closely and they have advised us to notify all direct contacts. Anybody that was directly exposed has already been notified and will be following proper quarantine protocols. If you have not received direct notification from our school, your child is not impacted by this exposure. Safety and transparency continue to be priorities for our school and we will work hard to keep parents informed. As we return from Spring Break, I want to remind parents to please contact your child’s teacher or our school prior to sending a child to school if they have symptoms, have been tested for COVID, or have been exposed to COVID. Our school staff will help determine appropriate next steps for attending school safely.
Lastly, tomorrow is the start of Spring Break for students and staff. There is no school for students tomorrow and no remote work. Students will return from Spring Break on Monday, April 12th. All of us at Bethany wish our students and families a fun, safe and relaxing Spring Break. Have a great evening. "
