Field Trips & Events

Below is information about annual field trips and events so that you can plan ahead. Check back throughout the year for updates and additions.

Kindergarten

Our Kindergarten classes go to Carolina Beach* each year, joining a sister school with whom they have been pen pals during the year. Our students engage in many activities including art, and science. For more information, contact Amy Allen.

       

 

First Grade

Our first grader classes go to the North Carolina Mountains* each year as an educational experience dealing with history, music and mountain culture. For more information, contact Kimberly Fulton.

 

          

Fifth Graders

Our fifth graders go to Washington*, DC each year as a trip to learn more about our nation's capital. For more information, contact Dawn Schmucker.

*All of the above trips are overnight or up to 3 nights.

        

Events

In addition to the May Day celebration, Bethany also holds a "Fall Festival" in early October. Students also participate in the "Christmas Angel" and food drives for the hungry.
