Field Trips & Events
Below is information about annual field trips and events so that you can plan ahead. Check back throughout the year for updates and additions.
Kindergarten
Our Kindergarten classes go to Carolina Beach each year. Our students engage in many activities including art, and science. For more information, contact Brittany Flynt.
Fourth Graders
Our fourth graders go to Betsy-Jeff Penn 4H Educational Center. Our students focus on predators v/s prey activities and games, fossils digs and making casts, pioneer days making candles and cornbread, and the Saura tribe of Native Americans that once lived here. Fifth Graders
Our fifth graders go to Washington, DC each year as a trip to learn more about our nation's capital. For more information, contact Dawn Schmucker.
*All of the above trips are overnight or up to 3 nights.
Events
In addition to the May Day celebration, Bethany also holds a "Fall Festival" in early October. Students also participate in the "Christmas Angel" and food drives for the hungry.
